  1. I just got the sopranos seasons 1,2, and 3 from china. Power dvd xp states that these are coded for all regions. The only problem is that my stand alone player(panny cp72) will only play half of them. My computer player will play all of them and it is set for region 1. any advice. thank you.

  2. I'd be interested in seeing what a Chinese Sopranos disc looks like. Does it have Chinese subs?

Can you elaborate on "it does not play" ? What happens exactly once you put the disk in your player??

Yes sorry, when I try playing it in my sony dvp-s330 depending on which set it will either say "disc not playable" or I get this flashing "C:00:00", my panasonic will just say disc not readable or it will keep trying to read and do nothing. Finally on my PS2 it says "TV style does not match" thank you.

Sounds like the 4th disk might not be NTSC. Can you have access to a multisystem DVD player (such as a malata N996) ?
