Hope someone can help. I use DVD Shrink to back up my collection of movies that I have for my grandaughter to watch so that the originals do not get scratched. At first they play fine but after six or seven plays they start to skip, lockup and or pixelate badly. At first I thought they were getting scratched, you know how kids are, but looking at them they look fine. I have had the problem on 2 kinds of media, sony and a no name made by opti or something like that. I am using an LG 4020b recorder. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? Oh and I am using Nero to burn the files. Thanks for any help.

I still think it may be bad media. No other explanation for playing fine, then not playing fine.

I had Memorex CD-R's that would do that. After about a week or two of playing I chucked them out the window. I know it's not DVD but I know what your saying... I burned at a slower speed it solved the problem
