  1. Alright people i need some help. After multiple times of getting this error it is starting to wear on me because this process takes so long. I am using a guide that Mr. Bass had on his web site http://davis28.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Gudie/guide.html
and everything works fine until the end of DVD2DVDR.
Ok when DVD2DVDR is done it shows a error right have the Pulldown, it says "file not found". I dont know what its not finding. I have ripped the entire disk to the hard drive and still get this error. I have done 1 movie good so far, does anyone know what this means when it says "file not found."?

  2. Forgot to mention that when i get the error, i try and move on to the next step with DVDlab but i dont have a video file to load up, i just have the audio file in my folder. It seems to be a problem after it does the 2:3 pulldown , because thats when i get the error. But i need to know how to fix this problem.

    Thanks for the help.

  3. I set the authoring method to IFOEdit and it usually finishes by giving me the VIDEO_TS folder. All I have to do is burn. Although I found out in the more recent versions, IFOEdit also has problems finding the files it needs. So, when it happens, I end up finishing the authoring process myself, using IFOEdit.

  4. Below is the last 4 lines of the log... as you can see it gets through the encoding because of the time frame. But fails at starting pulldown... anyone ?

    8:33:47 AM Creating Encoder Script...
    8:33:47 AM Starting MPEG-Encoder.....
    1:52:17 AM Starting Pulldown...
    1:52:18 AM File not found

  5. flberni i personally dont like IFOedit doing my Authoring because it is choppy. Not the quality i am going for.
I have been doing some research and noticed Mr. Bass posted on another board and someone had the same problem .

if you get the file not found with pulldown

    it's got funky characters...or a space there...

Now I'm assuming you ripped to .iso and mounted with daemon tools. Just make sure the path doesn't have any spaces.

Also something about the volume name of the harddisk also.
I have changed the Volume name of my hard disk to see if it might help, running the process now. The only other folder that might have a space problem is the folder that DVD2DVDR makes during this whole process. So i dont think that is a problem.
I will check if i cam getting the same error when i get home, but i need more input and help please.

  6. Ok i got home this morning and found out DVD2DVDR did not error out like it did before. So i am thinking that the space i had in the Hard Drives volume name was the problem. Hope this helps anyone else out there if they run into this problem.
