  1. alright, i've created several mp4's, and i wanna put em on a dvd. can a just drop em into toast and burn em as a dvd? or do i have to do some encoding? thanks.

    k, wow, ok...............if you have dvd studio pro 2, you can use compressor which would do wonders with mp4. or you can use ffmpegx, and select dvd, and do it that way, or you can use i dvd2 to do it. Hope that helps.

    no problem. I reccomend compressor the most. I have a ton of mp4 files ive made, and ive made svcd/dvd type discs from them.

    you CAN just drop them onto the DVD window of Toast 6 and it will encode them for you... This is probably the easiest way of doing it.

    Might take awhile, but it works.
