Are there any dvd burners that will wirk with windows NT?
Just trying to help a friend back up lots of data on dvd-r's on his NT machine.

Upgrade from NT to 2000 or XP, that NT is no longer supported by MS, is over 7 years old (lacking many newer drivers), does not support plug and play. If the Hardware cannot handle XP, may be on the low end of an DVD authoring machine and may not be worth the hastle.
It might/should work but you would have to turn detective to figure out if it is the OS or the drivers that causes problems.
If just burning data to DVD+-R like you would CD-R, buy an inexpensive burner with good return policy and try it. If it dosen't work, return it quickly.Cendyne/Pioneer 105 & 104 with a Dazzle* Hollywood DV-Bridge. -
Maybe he needs a DVD+-R(RW) for NT because he's going to upgrade to 2000/XP and doesn't want to lose his data...
