  1. Does anyone else have this type of problem. Only older DVD movies play, not the new ones. I have a Sony DVD Player on my PC. I haven't changed anything on my computer. It just stopped playing then. WinDVD won't play them or Windows Media Player. HELP!

Something apparently got changed. You might try PowerDVD or reinstall WinDVD. Newer movies have added features that may be causing problems. Not sure if you have SP1 or newer Windows player. You could restore to an earlier date, but then you may lose some of your recently installed programs.

  3. Well...I will have to put SP1 on and see if that works. I have tried the latest version of WinDVD, and no luck. I do know that the last time I redid my machine, it wouldn't play newer DVD's right from the start. Thanks for the help though.
