  1. I live and die by your capture guides and software knowledge on your homepage. I just bought a ati 7500 and liked 8.5, and didn't change after you said 8.6 is was buggy. I just saw 8.7 was posted and was curious if you tried it yet. Thanks for your work, I appreciate it.

I'm not willing to try it. The "fixes" and "new features" are nothing of importance to me. It mainly tweaked some of the frivolous features of MMC that are not part of the capture program itself (remember that MMC is several programs in 1, with the tv icon being the capture portion).

I may try it on my XP system, but not for another month or so. ATI upgrades can have unexpected errors if done wrong, and I'm in the middle of something, so it's not worth the risk of lost time. That XP system is tempermental enough as it is.

If you like the site, you may be pleased to know all my site will be completed no later than October 24th. (About 2/3rds the site is done on my computer. Added some new things too. It'll be uploaded when everything is done. I wasn't liking the one-piece-at-a-time method because of a DHTML error and a server bug that I have to manually fix at every upload.)
