I've got some SVCD .mpg files that I think are damaged and I'd like to find a way to save them. Each one is supposed to be about 45 minutes long, and the file size is about right for a 45 minute SVCD, but it appears to have only about 10 minutes of video in it when I open it with Media Player. Funny thing is, Media Player will plays them to the end, as long as I start from the beginning and don't jump around. TMPGenc only encodes the first 10 minutes.
Is there a way to play a video in Media Player and capture it in a second file somehow?
I hope I'm being clear.
Ken
