Going to Ohio

I'll be visiting Ohio from Friday to Monday. Anyone on here from Ohio? Any cool places other that Ceder Point to check out??

I'm not from Ohio but I've been to Cedar Point and it is AWESOME. Hands down the best roller coaster park I've ever been to. There's also Kings Island in cincinatti...it's also a really fun amusement park. You may want to check that out. Enjoy

Let me guess, going up I-85?
I don't know if it is worth the effort, but you might think about making a dog-leg through Winston-Salem and going up hwy 52? It runs parallel to I-77. Any way, it runs through Mt. Airy and Pilot Mountain. You will end up in Wytheville VA. From there, you can take I-77 north through WV. Makes for a nice scenic drive.
As far as Cedar point, if the weather is good, go to the water park also.

I dont know if going to the water park is a good idea...I dont know about ohio, but it's pretty cold up here.

I just remembered, there is a Thomas Edison museum a few miles south of Sandusky. Also, there is an aviation museum somewhere around there.
Maybe when you get to Cedar Point they will have all the bugs worked out of the dragster. My daughter spent over 3 hours waiting in line for a ride that just lasted 12 seconds. But it was worth it.

There's one coaster @ cedar point that I love...I dont remember the name of it but it's a near vertical drop. 90% of the rides there are worth the wait.

Been there. The best part was seeing Devo's clothes from the Whip It video, but a lot of the crap there sucked. John Lennon's report cards and stuff.

True...I'm one state to the left and its in the 40s here...next week around wednesday its supposed to climb back upto the high 60s-low70s.

Welcome back...was it fun? Was cedar point closed? I couldnt remember when they shut down for the season.

We didn't go to Ceder Point. We mainly stayed in the city that we were in. It was tons of fun. I picked up a DVD from Canada that wasn't released in the USA.
