    Hey,

When i open ffmpegX, it gives me an AppleScript Error which reads:

    AppleScript Error

No result was returned from some part of this expression. (-2763)

    What does this mean?
    Peace Out

  2. Just ignore it. It will be removed from 0.0.8e to be released before the week-end.

    Okay thanks!

    Now here is another question:

I'm trying to backup a DVD to a VCD. I used the Quick Presets VCD (NTSC) and i get this error:

**ERROR: [mpeg2enc] Could not read YUV4MPEG2 header: system error (failed read/write)!

What does THIS mean and how do i fix it?

    Thanks in advance!
    Peace Out

  4. It means that it is not able to read your source movie. Probably you're using the QT decoder and your QT is not able to read VOBs. Send me the whole output by email to major4@mac.com and I'll help you.

Okay, thanks a lot major! I've sent it to your email.
    Peace Out

  6. I had the same error too. Under Options, I deselected Decode with Quicktime and selected Decode with mplayer. It's working now, but won't this introduce potential sync issues?

Do you know what is wrong with my Quicktime?

    Thanks, major.

  8. Sync issues only appear when you try to encode with a framerate differing from your source (including 3:2 settings). Please email me details about your source and I'll help you further on that.
