I just got this burner with 2.09 firmware proceeded to burn DVD+RW,DVD-R,DVD+R OK. The problem is that only the burner can play them back. I cannot play any of these discs back on my SONY,TOSHIBA,PANASONIC DVD-ROM drives. I upgraded the firmware to 2.16 and still no JOY.

Any ideas,

I forgot to mention I used both the burn SW that came with the burner ( B's Recorder GOLD5 ) and DVD X Copy Express.

I have found the answer to my own question. My DVD-ROM drives are old and don't support +-R or +-RW formats. Just got a brand new DVD-ROM drive and it reads everything. It even said so on the box ( DVD format supported +-R,+-RW ...................... )

Boys, am I embarrased!!!!!!
