  1. $100 with $50 instant rebate.

I have not had chance to use them yet, so I do not know the media type. Unless someone beats me to it, I'll repost with the media type once I use one.

  5. I bought 2 packs the first day, but the spindles were different, so I knew something was up, but couldnt tell which was the Ricoh, so I picked up both, went home opened both and tested, the ones with the fancier spindle and the spindle cover that has Memorex branded on it are CMC's, the ones in the cheap looking spindle are Ricoh, so I returned the CMC's and stocked up on the Ricohs, btw, CMC burn at 4x, Ricoh at 8x

  6. were these + or -. I bought some with the spindles that were kinda grooved on the bottom and they were cmc. I have found that if the bottoms are grey spindles they are ricoh and if they are black they are cmc. Were your spindles black or grey on your last purchase?? i really like the ricoh cause they burn at 4x and not 2.4 like cmc.

I have burned well over 200 Memorex DVD-R's that were ALL CMC and I have yet to get a single coaster! They all burn at 4x as well.

I think people need to realize that the CMC 4X's (at least the Memorex) are NOT the crappy quality of earlier 2x and less they used to produce. If CMC was such garbage there is NO WAY I could attain a perfect burn record of over 200 disc to date!
