Just curious what everyone's "MAX" project size has been where it was JUST ENOUGH to squeeze onto a DVD-R or +R? I've been using the Big Three for a while and either reauthorist seems to show an AVG BITRATE which will exceed the total project size. This is a real pain in the ass because it takes quite a while for Scenarist to compile..or it could..depending on how many VTSes and PGC's Scenarist has to compile. My avg for Scenarist Import and Export is between 45 mins and an hour so going through the entire process only to find that your just over the max size of a DVDR really pisses me off.
So I basically knock of 15 from the AVG BitRate reauthorist gives and i've been rock solid so far...having some projects end up only a couple of MB's under the max size. That was...until yesterday...my total project size ended up being OVER 4,488 MB's. To be precise...I only had 320 kb's of space left on the disk! ONLY 320 KB's...WOW.......anyway...this has clearly been the closest i've gotten to 4,489 MB's......has ANYBODY GOTTEN ANY CLOSER?
Either way..what has been your MAX project file size WITHOUT going over 4,483 for a +R or 4,489 for -R?

Sounds like a good idea for a poll.
What's the most harddrive space youv'e consumed while working on a DVD project:
10 gb
20 gb
40 gb
60 gb
80 gb
more than 80 gigs (!) -
...i've actually seen a poll...I believe on here...or at the least..a post regarding HD space...however, I haven't seen the closest/max space for a DVDR.
