My question is, whe i burn a dvd or a cd, the burn procces has several steps, two of them are lead-in and lead-out, I always want to know thw meaning.

the lead in and lead out is basically a table of contents and sector/lba information of the disk without which the disk wouldnt play in (most) cd/dvd players
