I have 2 vcrs and would like to make a backup copy of some vhs tapes. Can someone tell me how to connect the cables in order for this to work![]()

If your vcrs have scart sockets then use those, put the vcr that is doing the recording onto it's av channel, easy.

connect either the coaxial or component Video & Audio Out jacks of VCR #1 to the Video & Audio In of VCR #2.
put the tape you want to dub in VCR #1, a blank tape in VCR #2.
hit play on VCR #1, set VCR #2 to a/v or channel 2 or 3 (depending on your vcr) until you see a picture.
Rewind VCR #1, hit record on VCR #2 & play on VCR #1.- housepig
