Hi all. I have a dvd+- burner I just got, and haven't used it at all yet. I have Family Guy season 1, and want to try making a backup of that. I have done VCD's etc for a long time, but want to know if it is possible to take disks with episodes and create an exact backup. Thank you,
Im sure I am missing a guide or something, just point me the right way.

Exact backup? No. Total backup, yes. Those are DVD9 disks, and your burner is a DVD5. You can rip individual eps, then re-author them as perfect backups (no re-encoding involved). This is the fastest method.
Any guide on 'Eps' 'EP' 'Episodes' will work. I believe Sopranos/Friends/Simpsons/Star Trek are the most common ones already done.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
Hi all.
murf43143, if you decide to give DVD Shrink a try, these guides might be of help.

If you're not familiar with DVD Shrink at all, I'd suggest you first view the v2.3 guides first, even though I advise you to use v3.0 beta 5.
