  1. What i've done is use DVD Decryptor to rip each episode individually, so that I can put 2 episodes/disk. What should I do now? I'm not too familiar with the IFO files, but I imagine I would have to do something to them before I use NERO to burn the data.

    Any helpers??

  2. Hello MarcSlater.

I know you've already ripped each episode separately, but if you don't mind starting from scratch you could simply use DVD Shrink.

Read the first v3.0 beta 5 guide first, if you're not familiar with DVD Shrink v3.0 beta 5.
Read all of them if you're not familiar with DVD Shrink at all.

Interesting....trying it now! Hope that the quality is maintained! I used DVDXCopy before, but the quality was no good, which is why I was weary of putting all 4 episodes on 1 disk.

  6. You don't have to put 4 episodes per disc.
You can put 2 or 3 (or 1, or more).

  7. Hey ddlooping, I'm having trouble with the rip. After burning the video and trying it on my component DVD player, the video and audio is completely messed up (choppy, freezing, etc.). I've checked the backup source on my PC and it is the same (should have checked that before making a coaster!!!)

    Anyway, any thoughts?

  8. Hi MarcSlater.

"...the video and audio is completely messed up (choppy, freezing, etc.). I've checked the backup source on my PC and it is the same..."

If the backup source was ok I'd say burning or media problem, but as the files exhibit the same problems, I really have no idea.
It's something that I've never experienced or heard of.

    Sorry.

  10. If I was you I would rip with smartripper and uce IC7 or IC8. I did Babylon 5 and use DVDshrink dvd2one and cloneDVD and IC7. IC7 was the best I can say that the back look almost as good as the real dvd. DVDshrink is a transcode IC7 encode's the video giving a better video picture

  11. P.S: if I could make a very wild guess, I'd say it could be due to heavy fragmentation of your hard-drive, or maybe a process (multi-tasking?) messed up DVD Shrink.
