Just got spammed by PM by Hudsonuk999 - newly registered today, and no posts to his/her name.

Any way to prevent this?

An eloquent person for sure - granted my reply to his/her spam PM was not that polite, but I didn't honestly expect anyone to use a real e-mail address to register & spam all of us.

If we were malicious people, we could send dozens of e-mails to the address Hudsonuk999 has given - but then we're surely above that aren't we?

After all SPAM isn't that annoying is it?

Simply because sometimes it just needs to happen. This person should be glad that they didn't do this at a couple other sites I know of. Just Ask Shoozleboy and maybe a few others involved with Skippie Stomp 1

I just ignored it. If it happens again, well.... I guess I can't be held responsible for my actions, whatever they may be.

Yeah - fair play - I'm not taking it any further for now - more important things to do. Hopefully the appreciative PM's they got back back will have put them off.

Do you think they got at our PM's directly? - I don't see that they went through members manually - or am I totally wrong?

Is there some vulnerability in the phpBB or something?

Baldrick et al - I think you do a great job of running this site, and I hope there is a reasonable reward for you - but is there anything you can do about this sort of thing?
