  1. What do the experts reccommend on this board. I value your opinions. I am buying a DVD burner. I am in Calgary, Canada.
My 2 choices I have narrowed it down to are:

    1)Pioneer a-106 4X +- OEM $239
    2)LG Super Multi 4X +- Retail $289

    Or neither?
    Thanks!!!!!!

  4. I'd go with the Pioneer at Newegg or if not in a hurry wait for the Lite-on 411s, but you'd also have to wait to see if there's any issues with it too.

  5. I have had LG for almost 3 wekks now. It is the quietest drive I have ever seen. Got it for $179 US shipped from www.pc-beyond.com. Great burns, it also burns DVD-RAM. An added feature over Pioneer. The only thing is not too many people have it so there is limited support if anything goes wrong.
