I have a question ... may be a newbie question: For what do you use AviSynth in conjunction with TMPGEnc ? ... Does it enlarge the quality of the result or the converting speed ?

    Thanks for answer ...

  2. The number one way is to use Avisynth to frameserve a video to TMPGEnc. The advantage of frameserving is that you can apply video filters without creating a temporary file. This saves time and hard disk space.

Also, if TMPGEnc cannot open a file, you may still be able to encode it using a frameserver.
