Any help is welcome, here is my question or problem. I came accross a kensington projector with variable speed. Works great. Pictures is crystal clear. I set up my Sony dcr-trv 340 dig camcorder to focus in on movie and backed out till I only had the picture of the film. The camera doesn't seem to want to focus on the projected film very well. I tried auto and manual focus. Has anyone out there tried and been sucessful at transfering 8mm film to vhs or dvd.

do a forum search for another member named mkelley - there was a good thread about transferring 8mm, and I know he weighed in on it with some good info.
