It sucked big time. The effects looked very fake and the action was choppy at best. The story was predictable and the humor was flat. Over it seemed they tried too hard to make a good movie out of a bad script. Rent Rumble in the Bronx instead.

When I rented it, I thought it was going to be a cheesy movie where they try to pair up two comedians that end up sucking. But I gave it a rent anyway and thought it was decent. Both Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson are hilarious and the script is not that bad. The movie is OK but there are definitely parts to the movie that made me laugh hysterically. Definitely worth the rent.

Caught this one on cable on the weekend. At first look I thought it was going to be a really bad movie but as I watched it I became hooked. For anyone who liked the Breakfast Club then I would recommend catching this movie.

good in parts. He makes some good points about guns and racism and american history but I felt that it could have been a lot sharper. ALso the quality of some sections is appalling. Cold dead hands, very soon chuck!.

Decent little heist / doublecross movie, with Samuel Jackson as a pharmacist who gets busted on graduation day 1971. Flash forward, he's working as an indentured servant to drug dealer The Lizard (Meat Loaf). He decides to quit, dramatically, and go to London to make a $20 Million score from dealers there for Formula 51, a superdrug that only he knows how to make.

I saw previews for this, and waited for it to hit the second-run $2 theater in town.. it never showed up. Picked it up at Best Buy as part of a 2 for $20, and was not disappointed - it's a decent little chase / scam movie, with some nice twists, some great lines for Jackson, a scenery-chewing performance by Meat Loaf... so it's not Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, it's still a decent flick.

Any movie where you can watch Jackson wearing a kilt, beating up skinheads with golf clubs, and screaming "can't a brother deal some god damn drugs??" is worth 90 minutes of your time.
