The lifeview site is now greatly increased over the crappy homemade look it used to have, and as a bomnus a new set of drivers and tvr program are availablenot only does it look much better, it lets you capture tv directly to mpeg 1 and 2, and it doesnt have to be vcd, svcd or dvd complaint resos either (although it can be). I was wondering if anyone else had used these and what type of quality did they get?
Also, i would like to capture to mpeg1 directly from my tv card, im on a 1800xp (1.53ghz) with 256mb ram, geforce2mx400 and flyvideo3000. At the moment my hdd is only 8.6 54krpm, but soon ill be using a 80gb 74krpm and was wondering if anyone could tell me of their experiences with this type of equipment for capturing mpeg1 or other formats directly.
