I am trying to author several episodes onto a dvd. I currently have them on my hard drive as vcds with 48000hz audio. Can I just load each episode into TMPG author as seperate tracks and then just create a menu? When I load the mpg, without demuxing the file first it seems to seperate it for me. Can I just author them that way? It doesnt seem to complain about anything but I just wanted some advice before I proceed.

Hmmm..... i have yet to try a vcd mpg, but i don't see why not. when TMPGEnc DVD Author creates the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders, you can play them with WinDVD before actually burning them to a dvd to see how they play, or you could always use a dvdrw first to see how they looked on your tv.
I actually have quite a few episodes of dark angel in widescreen from season 2 that i was converting from pal dvd's to vcd's, i think i try that tonight to see how they come out
