  1. One of the users on the forum, Tompika, has posted that the Lite-On LDW-401S can write both + and - formats following a firmware upgrade!

    This sounds like a bit of fantasy to me but I am reserving my judgement until I get a few replies, as I just wonder whether the 401 is based on the +/- writer they are bringing out soon but they didn't have the firmware sorted for the - side of writing so released the 401 as a + only. Who knows.

    Anyone got any knowledge of this?
