  1. I have Panasonic E-80 and I plan to back up all my VHS tapes (football games as my hobby) into DVD and some tapes are about 15 to 20 years old. The quality is fairly ok and I'm thinking about purchasing the device that can sharpen the picture, adjust the contrast, brightness and tint. I'm not worry about eliminating copyright protection. So from your experience, which device is best suitable for me?

Would like to hear your feedback before I buy it.

    Thanks!!

I own both devices and the AVT is your best bet, it works on dvd and vhs. The Sima sucks, it also produces more noise in the video. The AVT has video filtering controls from color thru contrast.

Sima is a waste of money.
