  4. IFOEdit is the only free program, and if all you want is a simple DVD (no menu) just video, audio, subtitles and chapter points it gets the job done. DVD Lab is the next 'best' choice IMHO. Another popular choice is TMPGenc's DVD Author program. But I think currently DVD Lab is better.

    After that prices go up pretty fast. Adobe encore looks like it's going to be the best program choice (~$550).

  5. tmpgenc and then tmpgenc dvd author. I like ulead dvd movie factory also, nice and simple.

    Cheers guys- Craig, I've already flicked through that thread, but i was thinking of freeware/shareware rather than bought s/w

    hardcoreruss: I already downloaded - both the standard and DVD versions, but of course it has a 30 day trial. I realise that, but I've tried re-downloading and installing it, but it still says the trial has expired, So do i guess that after installing it once thats it

    Thats why i started this thread, to find an alternative to that one
