    Hello BASDSucks

    Don't worry about that post from Tommyknocker
    It is sort of a in-joke here at our lil forum and it would be I suppose kind of hard to explain. Suffice to say that you will eventually "get it" and that this was in no way done to make fun of you.

    Just poke around here at some posts for a while and you'll get it eventually

    Here is the way I do it:

    Load your VOB file(s)

    Go to AUDIO and do the following:

    TRACK NUMBER ---> NONE
    CHANNEL FORMAT ---> AUTO SELECT
    DOLBY DIGITAL ---> DEMUX ALL TRACKS
    MPEG AUDIO ---> DEMUX ALL TRACKS
    48 -> 44.1KHZ ---> OFF
    NORMALIZATION ---> UNCHECKED (OFF)

    Then when you create your D2V project file any and all audio files will be demuxed and you will have one or more AC-3 audio files (most likely it will be AC-3 but it could be other formats as well).

    Now you can use DVD2AVI to convert the audio (in the VOB files) to a WAV file but you don't want to do that. If you really do want to convert the audio to WAV use DVD2AVI to first demux to AC-3 (or whatever the audio is) and then you can use another program to convert to WAV or whatever format you want. The most popular program for doing that would be BeSweet but there are other programs.

    tgpo (the other avatar) is a moderator of this forum. He is also kinda the "forum icon" around here. There also was about a week where around 2 dozen people took his avatar, modified it, and made it their own.

    Tommyknocker was only referring that your avatar has resemblances to his old one. Nothing more. The joke has everything to do with the social culture of this board, nothing that you can really explain. No one is trying to be mean by not explaining, and no one is making fun of you or your art, it is just hard to explain.

    EDIT: Here is a link to the tgpo gallery from that time people were editing his avatar

    Could you take the sound file produced, send it through another converting program to create a file forge would like?
