  1. Hi there,

I'm trying to author a SVCD with multiples subtitles (2) and chapters.

I already managed to add the subtitles with WinsubMux (SVCD). It works perfectly on my standalone Philips DVD player.

I tried to add chapters with VCDEasy. Loaded the subbed mpg file. The programs recognizes it as having subtitles. Added the chapters.
Burned with Nero (tried to burn with VCDEasy aswell).

When I play it on my standalone, the chapters works fine, but the subtitles are gone.

I already tried to add the subtitles as CVD, but that doesn't work either.

I saw that some people also have this problem, and i'd like to know if anyone knows a fix for it or other program them VCDEasy that can add
chapters and not make my subtitles disappear (it seems to be a software problem?)

BTW, I used PBC on, on VCDEasy to add the chapters. With PBC off they don't work in my standalone.

    Thanks in advance!
    Spilson

  2. Well, I had exactly the same problem. I have a Daewoo DVD T6300N player (it is a TYT Clone), and I upgraded the firmware with the Gruding 133S(Yahoo TYT Clones forum), because my DVD player don't support SVCD subtitles (the 133s firmware support it).
I am using DVD2SVCD to rip the DVD to SVCD (It use WinSUbMux to subtitles) and I am using VCDEasy V1.1.5 to make chapters.
When I used SVCD style subtitles, the subtitles don't work whith chapters, but if I used VCD style subtitles, the subtitles work fine with chapters and menus.
