    I have version 5.9.9.14 and it won't recognize my pioneer 106 as a recording device. It only lists the virtual recorder in the drive list. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

    wow,update nero,but to get nero 6,youll have to pay.
    or look for nero updates somewhere else.

    uninstall nero,and reinstall it,maybe update your aspi layer,if that doesnt work,bite the bullet and get nero 6.

    This happens when you try to save a few dollars by getting a OEM rather than the unit with software. download.com has all sorts of software you can try.

    your point is irrelevant handyguy, that version of nero will not work with any 106 drive. There is nothing at all different from an OEM from non-OEM. Only difference is that you get a better price.

    You might not need the full 13MB+ update just d/l CDROM.CFG and copy it to Nero Burning Rom folder in Explorer.
