I read in this forum a lot of negative reactions for ulead movie factory 2. For now i have captured movies from a videorecorder as dvd mpeg and then load it into moviefactory2. I directly burn it as a dvd to a dvd+r. No problems so far.
What are the problems with moviefactory that makes the negative critics?
Or there programs, so easy that can do the same job?

Ulead DVD MovieFactory is one of the best and easiest DVD authoring programs currently available. Don't listen to the critics. They prefer the more complicated and sophisticated programs.

I agree with bpjenn. I started out using Ulead Moviefactory 2 and fell in love with it. However, after awhile I wanted a more sophisticated program. If you get the itch like I did, try Ulead DVD Workshop.

If the movie is pulled down film, it won't let you put
chapters past 80% of the movie.
That's the only serious bug I know of. -
Well here's my reason for not liking it anymore.....

I think the biggest complaint is that MF2 is limited as to what it can do, but I like using it and think that it is a great product for the price.

If you feed it clean, properly prepared source files, it works 100%.
