Hi all,
I just burned my first movie with Nero...using DVD-ROM (UDF)...whatever that means. I can view the dvd fine on my computer but then I put the disk in my Pioneer DV-434 and the player spits the disk back out at me....any idea what's going on? I'm not sure if the way I burned the disk with Nero was wrong to begin with or what.
I've searched the forums and checked out the info page for the Pioneer and it seems like everyone else can play whatever they put in the player.
ANY info would be appreciated!!!
Thanks.![]()

How did you make your movie? What type of file is the source? What programs did you use? Did you follow any of the guides on this site? Did you create a DVD compatible mpeg?
You will have to give more information other than just, "I just burned my first movie with Nero...using DVD-ROM (UDF)...whatever that means." That sounds like you put some sort of video file onto a DVD. There are many types of video files and if you want them to play in a DVD player they must be DVD compliant. You might want to do some reading, this site has a lot of information if you browse a little."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
