  1. are the dvd players that dont play a dvd + and a dvd -?
    I know someone who is saying that his very old sony player cant read copy dvd's..........

    Is that possibly or must it work on one whay or another?

  2. Don't really understand what you are asking are you saying that if a copied dvd plays on one machine must it work on another ?

  3. Yes, of course it's quite possible an older player will not play DVDR media, regardless of whether it's + or -. Indeed, it's probably more often the case than not.

    Any player made in the last couple of years has a good shot at playing most media, but if the player is older than that I wouldn't count on it playing any DVDR -- it may well do so, but it wouldn't be at all a surprise if it didn't.

    Tell you friend to buy a newer player -- they are dirt cheap now and *very* good.

    Know u now that it is proberly a problem whit the dvd player and not the media (whit plays great on all the players i have tested)
