    I want to capture tv footage and vcr footage to dvd. Is it better to capture footage at 720x480 or is it ok to capture at 640x480. I want to best looking picture. I cant really tell any difference. Some applications that I tried for authoring dvds, don't allow me to import 640x480.

    These are the resolutions you must have to burn a compliant DVD. If size is the main factor, use the lowest setting. If quality is the main factor, use the highest.
