Lifetime, it makes her cry
Personally, I like Spike TV. Especially MXCJust what is this reality thing anyway? -
Interesting Poll, but what about the many board members that are not in the US!
-
I don't watch any "Women's" stations. I watch what films & progs I like and they're usually on *Film Four*, SkyOne, Sci-Fi, TCM, etc. (in UK)

Dude, I've looked at those channels before. You're not missing anything.
Actually here where I am I don't get oxygen. -
My missus watches a channel called UK Style all about doing your house up, buying new houses etc... load of bollocks !!!
-
Buster,
Lifetime is sort of like Living channel here in UK. Mostly just talk shows and Made-For-TV movies, stuff like that.
UL cable has just started with a new channel "Flaunt" that's aimed at young (teenage) girls. :c*
I, personally, never understood the reason for these targeted channels, but, I suppose, if you can have a Golf channel, anything is possible! -
An entire channel dedicated to Golf, you have to be kidding!Originally Posted by Gees

Unfortunately, it really does exist. Go figure. :c* -
Well she definitely doesn't watch the Golf Channel (Channel 605 on DirecTV) with me!
My lady watches three things: Law and Order, NASCAR, and Football (College, NFL, Aussie Rules) on any channel she can find them.
I cannot repeat what she told me about Oxygen and Lifetime.
-
Alas, she is no longer my girlfriend, but she spends all her time watching MTV2. I have happy memories of watching back of the y and getting a bit tipsy.
*sigh* -
A woman I used to know said she sometimes wanted to watch Lifetime because it was like a train wreck. That was before WE/Oxygen was around.
A man without a woman is like a statue without pigeons. -
here in chicago, pay an extra $30-40 a month for digital cable and you get these types of marvelous channels.Originally Posted by bugsterHis name was MackemX

There are more US folk who like UK programming, than the other way around :P
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
That's true. Because US programming sucks for the most part.Originally Posted by Will Hay

Used to be a good show. That is till they started making huge salaries per show. Now it seems they do not care....Now Scrubs on the other hand is funnyOriginally Posted by tgpo

I don't really like Scrubs. I didn't think it was all that good personially.

Ah reality TV.
I watched the Osbournes for the first time last week. What a bunch of F***ing basket cases.
I agree, reality TV is more in the lines of chat Candid Camera was. All the participants in reality TV play up too much for the camera.
Just like the Webcam sights.Just what is this reality thing anyway? -
No, really? What don't you like about it....Too silly of humor? (slap shtick)Originally Posted by tgpo

No I like the slap stick, but it's the rest of it that I don't like. I didn't really like the charaters or the plots. Plus it was hard for me to follow.
