I recently tried to rip Spy Kids. When I went through the final version I would see lots of skips throughout the movie. I redone it two more times and got the same results. I have done other movies since then and they have worked, the only diferance is that they are not this months new releases from the video store. I tried to rip another new release called Just Visiting last night and I ended up with the same problem. The older dvd's that I am ripping are ending up great but these two new ones are giving me problems. Anyone know anything about this?

I have the same problem with Spy Kids. The solution to this is to enable the "force film" option (under video) in DVD2AVI. BTW, I didn't have this problem when I used DVDx but the picture quality is not as good as the one encoded by TMPGEnc 2.0.

Use this guide and you can use TMPGEnc through DVDx so you won't have problems like this in the future and the quality is great:
