  1. It seems that the rumors are true: many of my Princo dvd-r's are now freezing and skipping. Does anyone know if I'll be able to copy the bad Princo discs to Ritek successfully? It seems I should be able to. Has anyone done this?

  2. I'll think it will work as long as it is a media playback problem... that's what it usually is... Why don't give it a try? Not a big loss to try with one movie.

It may just be your dvdplayer having trouble playing dvd-r, but I think it is worth a try.

  3. Make sure it's not your DVD player that's about to die. Bring some of your DVD-R's to the local electronics store (Radio Shack?) and try playing them. You can also test 'em out on your friends' or neighbors' players.

  4. How old are your bad Princo's, and are they branded as Princo or something else? i.e Laser?

I have not had a bad Princo DVD-r yet, look at your setup, or "Burner".
