I got 200 of these from them on my last order. Out of 90+ burned so far no coasters. Most of these disc's were burned at 2x on a Hacked Pioneer DVR-104. These are one of the most compatible disc's in terms of playback that I have come across. It plays in some DVD players that have problems playing recordable media. According to DVDInfo Pro these are Princo's. I know now that some people will post how bad Princo disc's are, but so far I've had no problems with this media.

  3. By looking at the pic via that link I would say that they are Princo's. I bought a 50 pk of them and have had reasonable success with them on four different DVD players. For me, they are backups for my daughters movies, cheap works in this case. If cost is your only concern then these should fit the bill. But if you want something for your 'keepers' then spend a few more bucks and get some better media, IMHO.

  4. If cheap is what you want then you could buy these Princo discs for $0.72 each here http://www.allmediaoutlet.com/pricewatchspecial.html

BTW I have been burning some princo 4x printable DVD-R for a while now with no problems at 4x on my Sony DRU500ax.

  6. Anyone know if the Princos work on the Pioneer A06? Most of the sites dont list them but I would imagine it works since it works on the A05 and before.

  7. why do you guys think shop4tech labeled these "LEDA".. i know theyre princo, cause ive ordered these ledas in the past... ive bought these ledas, and princos from all media outlet, and rima... maybe i got lucky or something, but the "LEDA's" had a better success rate... on average a 100 pack princos will fail 3-6 dvd's.. the ledas i would maybe have 1-2...

it may not be a 100% fair comparison though cause of backup sizes ranging from 1GB to 4.36GB.. obviously the smaller size having a better chance of not failing or having bad sectors... i use them to back up movies and xbox games...
i also noticed the code on the inside top layer "m400006292" for example. are different depending on where you get them from... why do you guys think that is?
