  1. Hello,

    The dvd-r discs I use say I can only fit 120 mins of video footage on the disc, is it possible to go beyond this length of time?

  2. yes, it all depends on the bitrate. bitrate directly affects quality and amount of video you can fit on a disc.

    I have gotten close to 4 HRS of very, very good quality on 1 disk.
    The method I used was encoded the video @ half D1 (352x480) with VBR between 2500kbps & 8000kbps. Films were IVTC'd (of course).
    And the audio I kept at either 224kbps or 192kpbs (.ac3)
