  1. I have 2 DVD-R discs with folllowing codes on media (written near center hole):

    First disc: HD22391076209
    Second disc: HO22391076209

Does anybody know who is manufacturer and how safe these discs are ?

There is no label on the box or on the discs ...

  2. Download a prog from the tools section under the burn heading called "DVD Info". That should give you much more information about your disks.

  3. Downloaded and tried .. but it says that my drive does not support manufacturer ID function

So, this will not help ... anybody maybe have the same media and can help me to detect manufacturer ?

What model of drive do you have? There are at least 2 different programs that will let you get the ID off the disc out there, that ID will tell us TONS more then the code on the disc itselfs surface.

which program did you download... ADVDINFO or DVDINFO? If you D/L'd ADVDINFO you won't be able to check the media in your DVD ROM which is probably why you got that message. Either way..just put the disk in your DVD BURNER and check it from there. Regardless of the programs you used..go down to the command line (with the disk in your DVD BURNER/NOT ROM) and go to the 'OE' function...then hit the info button or READ DVD STRUCTURE button and report back with the media id.
