  1. I need to get some prints from a vhs that i took. What am I going to need, is it a capture card or can I plug the feed into my computer? I have a amd 1.4 with a Nvida 4, 4400 video card. Tia

  2. I use a hauppauge wintv card and virtualdub. I capture an AVI and save the individual frame(s) with virtualdub. I had 35000 pictures of Christmas here.....

    Iuse Power DVD. Works great. Granted that you have first captured your tape to your hard drive.

    I heard that you can use that to capture images WHILE the file is playing. Is that true? I couldn't do it in the trial version I used to have.

    Yes that's how it works. Lower left portion of player is a camera icon. If it is not grayed out you can click on it while playing file. Saves it to Cyberlink folder under images or something like that.
