I need to get some prints from a vhs that i took. What am I going to need, is it a capture card or can I plug the feed into my computer? I have a amd 1.4 with a Nvida 4, 4400 video card. Tia

I use a hauppauge wintv card and virtualdub. I capture an AVI and save the individual frame(s) with virtualdub. I had 35000 pictures of Christmas here.....

Iuse Power DVD. Works great. Granted that you have first captured your tape to your hard drive.

Yes that's how it works. Lower left portion of player is a camera icon. If it is not grayed out you can click on it while playing file. Saves it to Cyberlink folder under images or something like that.
