    Hi,

    This player plays fine DVD-R discs made on regular DVD X Copy but it just freezes the machine after seeing the 321 Studios Backup DVD screen when it's made on the Xpress version. Literally, none of the buttons on the machine itself or the remote work. It is frozen. I have to hold down the power button down for 5 seconds to reset it.

    Any one know why it's acting like this?

    DVD X Copy discs are not fully compliant burns. My Toshiba freezes on them. Toshibas only accept compliant discs, with no variances. I have to watch them on my Apex.

    Hi,

    Another observation I forgot to mention was that the disc I burned from DVD X Copy Express trial which is only copies the first gig on the original DVD plays fine on the Toshiba. Can anyone explain the reason why?
