    you mean your software DVD player automatically playing your DVD???

    at least in winDVD, there's an option to disable autorun.

    for PC stuff on the DVD, i'm not sure you can disable autorun...

    Open My Computer
    Right click the drive
    Properties should have an Autoplay Tab

    You can screw around in there.
