Hi All -
I have seen some commecnts about programs that can be used to analyze a burn - i.e. can tell you how good the burn was when copying DVD's or whatever...
Can anyone reccommend a good, fairly straightforward program that I can use?
Thanks

I'm a newbie, and just looking into it, but I think you can use a program like Nero's CD speed and look at the data transfer on the disc. I read on the forum elsewhere you should get a smooth, consistent line for the read rate. Harsh dips could indicate a problem.
I'm just looking into it myself, I had a burned disc with some minor skipping near the end, and I tested the read rate on it, and I have one drop near the end of the disc. Looks like it could be the skipping point, my standalone player will display bitrate. It was pretty consistent until the skip point, where the bitrate tanked and started to skip...
