my computer teacher has osx and he recorded his trip to france on a digital camer or video recorder so he put it thru the dv plug with firewire and it was 18 gigs now..... we don't know what to do to get it on dvd-r can anyone help? there is a folder that says france.mov it's like 8kb and then theres a folder called media with the video clips i think the france.mov is just a project so it adds all the video files up together without clicking each one anyways help me please.

    Well if it isn't Chupes.

What did you capture this with? iMovie?? If so you should be able to export to iDVD, then use iDVD to burn.

In iMovie tell him to export to iDVD. It should compress automatically for him.
