MEDIUM: WRITE ERROR
mean?
Happened to me twice now when burnin a movie, this time it happened round about 94% complete, other time about 83%
Media: Bulkpaq Green 2x
Burner: Pioneer 104 (latest firmware)
Software: Pinnacle Instant Copy

Since it got that far into the burn, I would hazard a guess the optical block lost it's position on the disc.
DVD-R uses a wobble on a pre-groove cut into the disc to know where it is on the media and to track / focus on when burning. If it's lost that half way through the burn then that would probably give you that sort of problem.
Bulkpaq do seem to have a few issues with their media as far as "universal" compatibility goes. Some people like them, but you often hear about problems with them. If their stamper is up the creek - and the last I heard they were using Princo media with the fake TDK codes on some of their range so God only knows where THAT came from - then chances are the whole batch will be useless.
Try sending them back for exchange / refund. I don't recommend anyone uses Bulkpaq until they know what they're doing, because they cause so many problems it's hard to track down the problem if you're new to the game.
