sound help

hi i have ulead dvd factory and i have a movie for it that i want to make vcd an it worked i used cd-r and i tired cd-rw but the sound dosent work it plays for like 4 sec then just goes out for the rest of it i tried on 2 of the three files and it did the same my dvd player is a apex ad- 1000 so if you can help me it would be very nice of you thanks.

It's probably a media problem. What's the name of the media that you are using?

umm to tell you the truth i dont know what media is im new at this can you tell me cause i really want this to work.

By media he is referring to what CD/DVD you burnt the movie onto? Like what was the brand of CD/DVD you used for the movie.

did you play the actual .mpg file BEFORE you burned it??? did it also show the same sound problem???

also, did you play the VCD on your PC?? did it also show the sound problem?

did you also try playing the VCD on a friend's dvd player?? did it show the sound problem?

yes it played normal every time ecept about the 8th i got that TMPGEnc and tried that an there was no sound when i previwed it but when i burned the vcd it was 4 sec all the same i havent tried a friends dvd burner yet and when i played it on my PC it had all the sound

so you played the CD-R and CD-RW on your PC and there was no sound problem????

if that is correct, then your Apex just may not like your CDs.

also, how fast are you burning?? try burning at 4X max and c if it helps.

well if that dosent work there must be something wrong with the file
