Hey tgpo, wich version are you using? Do you know where to find good tutorials on After Affects?

I'm interested in what it can do.

I've been using 5.5 Production Bundle.

I'm mainly self taught, but a few tutorials can be found here

Thanks, I just started playing around with version 5 Production Bundle for a couple of weeks. It's pretty interesting, although I haven't found too much that I can't recreate with Premiere 6.5. I know I've only scrached the surface.

I was tring to make my logo true 3D so that when it swivels, you could see the dept. So far I haven't been able. In fact I could do a better job with the basic 3D in Premiere. Like I said I'm just scraching the surface.

Ulead COOL 3D does a better job really than premiere (for that application)

    BJ_M,

That may be true, but I don't have Ulead Cool 3D. I'm thinking that I just haven't figured it out yet. Maybe I have to do something with the wire frames or something. I'd like to learn what I do with what I've got.

I never really liked Premire. I took a class on it, but at the time I'd still rather use iMovie. I'm not into FCP. It's so much more powerful than Premire and tend to work better on my 450mhz computer. FCP actually runs at regular speed on it, while Premire would bog down when doing even the easiest operations. I think it has to do with Adobe not optomising their code when they port programs, or somthing like that.
