  1. 2 hours video (well a few seconds short)
    256x192 (1.33:1) [=16:12] resolution
    721 kb/s DIVX AVI

Now what'st he best way to convert this to VCD ?
How could I fit this video to 1 disc... I know it's 2 hours...
but the resolution is low my dvd player plays stuff
    with low bitrates.

Or should this be fitted to 2 cd's VCD and not even
    try putting it to 1.

The footage is a black and white movie.

  2. Use VirtualDub to extract just the video portion, use Goldwave to extract just the audio (wav format). Use TMPGEnc (with VCD format) to combine them. Obviously use the video (gotten from virtualdub) as video input and your wav file as audio input. Should come out as an MPEG-1 file that can fit on a VCD.
