  1. trying to encode a divx using dvdx2.2 and tutorial dvd 2 divx by milotis
    http://rip.corusa.com/

    but it keeps encoding the start over again through the movie and sound is about 30 mins infront of movie

    is this because i didnt rip to hard drive first

    i followed tutorial throughout

    ps used everything the same as tutorial divx codec 4.12 ect..

  2. you should rip to the hard drive first.
    i would suggest a different program or at least a different guide.
    they suggest useing divx 4.useing that codec the video will come out crappy.it is true that divx 5.xx isn't freeware,but it is adware supported.so it costs nothing.use divx 5.02 or 5.05.

    if you dont want to use that program,at least open the vobs with dvd2avi to preview whats going to be ripped.

  3. I've never used DVDx to encode to avi before but I would not use "infinite" in the volume won't exceed setting. Try using the 80 minute cd choice if you have an 80 minute cd. See if that helps.

  4. the problem is it will get so far into the movie the start from the beginning again it encodes so much then start off from start again so the finished file has about 3 starts in it if you know what i mean also if you try to fast forward it it just totally goes wrong with sync

  5. The only other suggestion I can make is that in the output window, make sure you click the "whole" button. This will allow you to copy the "whole" film.
